CONFLICT BETWEEN EIGHTTEENTH - DYNASTY HISTORY AND BIBLE HISTORY FROM MOSES' BIRTH TO THE EXODUS
The BIBLE dates the Exodus in the spring of 1446 B.C., 480 years before Solomon's fourth year of 966 B.C. (1 Kings 6:1). Moses was born 80 years before the Exodus in 1526 B.C. (Ex.7:7). Moses fled to Midian at age 40 in 1486 B.C. (Acts 7:23,30). Thus Moses returned to Egypt in 1446 B.C., the same year of the Exodus.
Egypts 18th dynasty dates from 1539 to 1292 B.C.,covering the entirty of Moses life from 1526 B.C. to 1406 B.C.

The Bible states that the Pharoah that tried to kill Moses died towards the end of Moses 40 tear exile. Thus the Pharaoh of the exodus must have been reigning a short time when Moses returned to Egypt. If the Biblical picture is complete, the Pharaoh who tried to kill Moses must have reigned at least 40 years, because he was reigning before Moses fled to Midian, and continued to reign for most of Moses 40 tead exile. BUT there were 5 different Pharaoh's between 1484 and 1446 B.C. Five Pharaoh's contridict the 2 of the Bible.
Thutmose III reigned too long to be the Phaeaoh of the Exodus, Ex.14:28 says that all the Egyptiand drowned including the Pharaoh, Thutmose reigned 53 years. Also Thutmose led his army's most successful military's victories 10 years after the Exodus.
The Hebrews already inhabited Canaan before Thutmose III reigned. Idrimi king of Alalakh began his reign a few years before Thutmose III became king. Idrimi claimed he lived with the "Hapiru people" in Canaan before he became king.
Amenhotep II invaded Canaan and braught back 3,600 Hapiru prisoners.
Joseph himself explained he formerly lived in the land of the "Hebrews" Ex.40:15. When Joseph's brothers arrived in Egypt during the famine they told the Egyptians they were "Hebrews". (Gen.43:32)
On numerous occasions God told Moses to speak to Pharaoh and tell him that"Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews", had commanded the Israelites to leave Egypt and worship Him in the wilderness. (Ex.3:18 : 5:3 ;7:16; 9:12 ; 10:3).
Was RAMSES II The Pharaoh of the Exodus
Many Bible scholars recognized the conflict between Bible date of the Exodus and the Egyptian dates of the 18th dynasty. Thus many of these Bible scholars shifted from the 18th dynasty to the 19th dynnasty as the time of the Exodus, identifying Ramses II as the Pharaoh of the Exodus.
Most Egyptologists date Ramses II's reign from 1279 to 1213 B.C. However 1 Kings 6:1 says that 480 years separated Solomon's fourth year (966 B.C.) from the Exodus in 1446 B.C. Scholars who identify Ramses II as the Pharaoh of the Exodus consider the 480 years of 1 Kings 6:1 to only 284 years in order to date the Exodus, 1250 B.C. in the middle of Ramsis II's long reign of 67 years.
Problem 1.Rameses was a store city in Moses' day, not a capital city.
The Pharaoh of Moses birth built Rameses and Pithom as "store cities" (Ex.1:11)
Ramses II built Pi-Ramses as his CAPITAL city, not a store city.
Problem 2. Zoan, not Pi-Rameses is the capital of Egypy in Moses' day.
Numbers 13:22 and Psalm 78:12,43 imply that Zoan (Tanis) wasthe capital of
Egypt when the plagues fell on Egypt.
Problem 3. In Moses' day the store city of Rameses was built out of mud bricks (Ex.1:11
5:6-9) but Pi-Rameses, the capital of Rameses II was built out of stone.
Problrm 4. The Hebrews and the tribe of Asher, lived in Canaan hundreds of years before
Ramses II reigned, some 350 years before Ramses II reigned.
(Asher was one of the 12 tribes of Israel.)
Problem 5. Ramses II reigned too long to be the Pharaoh of the Exodus. Pharoah of Exodus
must have reigned less than 10 years, Ramses II reigned 67 years.
Problem 6. Merneptah, son of Ramses II, reportrd in his 5th year that Israel was desolate in
Canaan Bible says Israel conquered Canaan 40 tears after the Exodus and re-
mained at peace for another 40 years.
Problem 7. The Conquest occurred in the archaeological age called Middle Bronze II, not the
Late Bronze Age.
Establishing the Date of the Exodus
1 Kings 6:1 enables us to establish this date.
In the 480th year after the Israelites had come out of Egypt, in the 4th year of Solomon's reign , in the month of Ziv, the second month, he began to build the temple.
That puts 480 years between the Exodus and Solomon's fourth year.
In the spring of 966 B.C. is established as Solomon's 4th year. This date of 966 B.C. is determined by ten astronomocally calculated dates that connect the reigns of Biblical kings to eight different Assyrian and Babylonian kings.
Ashurdan 763 B.C. 10th year of king Assyria
Mardokempados 721 B.C. 1st year of king Babylon
Nabopolassar 621 B.C. 5th year of king Babylon
Nebuchadnezzar 568 B.C. 37th year of king Babylon

PAUL'S Interpretation of the 430 Years of Exodus 12:40
In Galatians 3:16 the apostle Paul gives a different interpretation of the 430 years of EXODUS 12:40
PAUL began the 430 years of EXODUS 12:40 with God's promise to Abraham, not JACOB'S entrance into Egypt. Therefore, the translation of the 430 years in GALATIANS 3:16-17 contridicts the translation of EXODUS 12:40.
JOSEPHUS wrote "They left Egypt in the month of Xanthicus, on the 15th day of the lunar month; 430 years after our forefather ABRAHAM cvame into Canaan, but 215 years only after JACOB removed into Egypt."
The SEPTUAGINT'S interpretation of the 430 years of Exodus 12:40 also agrees with the chronology of PAUL and JOSEPHUS.
